Weekly Mind Body & Soul practice can help soldiers with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental health conditions resulting from combat. As part of our empowerment program, participants will be attending weekly mind body & soul practice sessions to help them better manage their PTSD.
By integrating mind-body-soul tools, such as yoga therapy, meditation, and emotional regulation techniques, we offer tailored support. Yoga therapy, combining physical postures, breathwork, and meditation, has demonstrated efficacy in treating conditions like PTSD. This approach helps veterans relax, center their focus, and foster a mind-body connection.
The goal is to help these veteran warriors lower their anxiety, reduce their stress, and recover from trauma flashbacks through the use of breathing and meditation techniques.
